Tomie Ohtake Institute Exhibits Yoko Ono

Curated by Gunnar B. Kvaran, an Icelandic critic and director of the Astrup Fearnley Museum of Modern Art in Oslo, the exhibition 'O CÉU AINDA É AZUL, VOCÊ SABE...' (The Sky is Still Blue, You Know) aims to reveal the basic elements that define the vast and diverse artistic career of Yoko Ono.
- a journey through the notion of art itself, with strong political and social engagement.

This exhibition, sponsored by Bradesco and CCR Institute, was specially conceived for the Tomie Ohtake Institute and is made up of 65 pieces of "Instructions", which exactly evoke the participation of the spectator in its realization. These are works that underline the guiding principles of the artist's production, by questioning the idea behind a work, highlighting its ephemerality while deacrating it as an object.
